petfriendly holiday lets lincolnshire coastThe Lincolnshire coast is a completely unique part of the UK, which is visited by thousands of tourists year upon year. By embarking on a casual family walk with the pet pooch, along part of the 50 mile stretch of golden sands, you’ll certainly see why. One of its many well-kept secrets is the array of charming English towns dotted around the North Sea coast. With all this stunning natural beauty and beachside vibrancy, it’s only right that the fairground entrepreneur Billy Butlin set up his first holiday camp there in local seaside haven, Skegness and it is still there. Anyone self catering independently can buy day tickets to enjoy its entertainment for a day of their holiday.

There are lots of good quality holiday bungalows in Lincolnshire

With all this fun to be had, you’ll need somewhere to rest your weary head; and what better way to spend your nights than in your very own idyllic luxury accommodation. By choosing a heavenly holiday bungalow, you’ll experience lots of great benefits for you and your loved ones. For example, it would be perfect for grandma or grandpa if they really want to experience the famous fresh air of the East coast, but are unable to walk long distances or climb up those endless steep stairs.

With so much to see from your window, including those incredible North Sea views, you’ll be transported into a world of pure relaxation and feel a million miles away from your stressful 9 til 5 office job.  But it’s not just about all these seaside spectacles, as not only will you have a fully furnished modernized kitchen to work your culinary magic in, but you’ll also have a tastefully decorated living room that shouts out snug and homelike. The kids and dog will love the lush, green garden too. Why not watch them joyfully play, in amongst the tall evergreen trees from your extensive patio? And how about treating yourself to a bottle of local Tom Wood ale, as you relax comfortably in an in house recliner? Yes don’t worry; it is sometimes sunny in this precious part of the world too you know!

It's not all fish and chips

There’s no better place in the UK when it’s sunny, than the glorious Lincolnshire coast.  Stumble upon the surprising charm of local towns like Cleethorpes with its breath-taking history and high quality beach bars, where a traditional plate of delicious fish and chips at the popular Ocean Fish Bar is a must have. Furthermore, if you want to enjoy the famous coastal views of the area but need to keep your legs fresh for the crazy golf course along the promenade, you could take an educational yet enjoyable family fun filled ride on the Lollipop Express Land Train.

If it’s cold and wet (which unfortunately the East coast can sometimes be), then you can still have lots of fun in one of England’s top seaside resorts. If you spend the morning at home in your dressing gown by the gas stove fire, then you could think about travelling to nearby towns Mablethorpe or Ingoldmells, for the afternoon and evening. A trip to Mablethorpe is worth it for the Dunes Family Entertainment Centre alone. As well as hilarious karaoke and topical quizzes, there’s a children’s disco to enjoy every Saturday night, for those young rock stars! If Ingoldmells is more your cup of tea, then despite the Lincolnshire drizzle, why not explore Europe’s largest indoor 7 day a week market and treat yourself to a cherished memory of your favourite seaside holiday?

Family self-catering cottages that allow dogs

dog friendly family holiday cottagesHoliday bungalows are not the only self-catering places that you can stay in for beautiful views along the North Sea coast. Why not stay in a cottage or house for more of a sense of freedom away from the children? We are thinking about you here. Whilst they play fight or make dens upstairs in their spacious bedroom, you can be downstairs with the dog, relaxing on the leather sofa and watching your favourite boxset. A glass of wine in hand is optional but most definitely encouraged. Whatever accommodation you decide to park your family in for your holiday, you’ll certainly feel straight at home right down by the seashore as well as around the friendly yellow bellies themselves, an endearing term for Lincolnshire folk.

If you want some more retail therapy from Lincolnshire life, then why not take a trip to the historical town of Grimsby? As well as being a main fishing port (think of that fresh catch of the day you could have for your alternative Sunday lunch), it’s also a shopping haven that’s popular for all ages. Freshney Place, in particular, is a paradise for big brands and since its grand expansion and renaming in 1989, has been classed as one of the UK’s largest shopping centres.

The region of Lincolnshire really is a joy to behold and whether you’ll be in the countryside or down on the coast, you’re guaranteed one of the best weeks of your life.
